A REDDITCH charity has received a boost thanks to the efforts of local resident Leigh Walton.
Leigh has been running free pilates classes in the garden of the Why Not pub on The Ridgeway for the last few weeks so people could keep fit in the fresh air.
However there has been a donations tin for attendees and they’ve been popping their coins in – so many in fact that Leigh has been able to make a donation of £160 to Touchstones, the charity for bereaved children.
“They Why Not had offered me the garden for free so I thought I’d make the classes free as well but put a donations tin there.
“The members then chose a charity they wanted to support.”
