HUNGRY Redditch residents – and a few of their dogs – were spotted last week queuing up to bag a tasty bargain.
Merchants fish and chip shop, based in Crabbs Cross, enticed local people to try their award winning food with a special half-price offer and the resulting queues halfway down the street really spoke for themselves.
The popular chip shop ran a promotion with everything at half-price from 4.30pm on Wednesday (March 15) with an additional 15 per cent off the next visit – and it had people lining up to get in for most of the evening.
Emma Payne, owner of the shop on Evesham Road, said: “We love running promotions to bring our customers – both old and new- out to visit us. It creates a really great atmosphere and we certainly won’t wait too long before running another half price event.”
