POLISH-speaking children can take part in new free Polish language singing workshops being offered by Redditch Choral Society.
The sessions – for those aged seven to 14 – run from 4pm to 5pm every Tuesday from November 14 at Mount Carmel Church.
The aim is to work up to a concert at Trinity High School at 7.30pm on Saturday, December 9.
The final Tuesday workshop will be on December 5 with a short rehearsal on December 9 before the performance.
The sessions are being led by conductor and RCS Director of Music, Emily Tyrrell.
She said: “This is a unique chance for children to experience the excitement of working with professional musicians before showcasing their talents in the Christmas concert – and it’s all free.
“Children are not required to be fluent in Polish, but they will need to be able to pronounce Polish lyrics.”
