A TOP Redditch company which has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for its success in international trade, has been praised by town MP Rachel Maclean.
TP3 provides a full range of thermal protection for temperature sensitive cargo and Mrs Maclean popped in to congratulate them on their success.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is one of the most prestigious awards for UK businesses, designed to recognise and encourage outstanding achievements in the fields of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity.
Based on the Washford industrial estate, TP3 was recognised for its outstanding short-term growth in overseas sales over the last three years.
The firm’s overseas sales have grown by 187 per cent in the last three years with exports rising to 74 per cent of total sales.
As Queen’s Award winners, representatives from TP3 attended a Royal reception at Buckingham Palace last month and were given a Grant of Appointment and a commemorative crystal bowl. The firm can also fly the Queen’s Award flag from their HQ and use the emblem on their marketing materials.
“TP3 is a thriving Redditch business providing jobs for local people and supporting our town’s economy.
“It was a huge honour to visit their HQ to congratulate all the staff on their Queen’s Award win.
“I’m incredibly proud that another Redditch business has won a Queen’s Award, once again helping to put our town on the map as a place businesses can thrive and create the high-skilled and high paid jobs of the future.”
