AN ambitious training academy led by a Redditch business outsourcing firm has been honoured by Birmingham Metropolitan College.
More than 425 people have found full-time jobs with Prospect Hill-based Sigma Group after they received expert training at the academy set up by Sigma – in partnership with the college and Birmingham City Council.
In recognition of the company’s success Mike Harfield has been made ‘a fellow of the college’.
He said: “We provide a first-class programme that builds candidates’ confidence and makes them ready for a career in our business.
“I’m really proud to say that it has helped change lives and brought people into new jobs in Redditch.
“The fellowship is a huge honour not just for me, but for the whole team involved.”
