RESIDENTS are being challenged to participate in physical activity by completing Redditch Borough Council’s 30 Days of Fitness Challenge.
Locals will have to do exercise for a minimum of ten minutes every day, for 30 days, starting on September 23.
The council has recommended a variety of ways to get fit including going for a walk, doing a home workout with a virtual instructor, attending an exercise class or doing gardening.
Residents can visit the council’s social media for more inspiration on how to keep active and to register for competitions to win fitness hampers.
Councillor Mike Rouse, deputy leader of the council said: “I’m acutely aware of how important it is to move more and our 30 Days of Fitness campaign is just one way we are helping our residents.
“I’m on my own fitness journey, having recently joined the Abbey Stadium, and I will be taking part in this challenge.”
