RESIDENTS in Matchborough could see some disruption over the next few weeks as works start to make improvements to the area.
Eardisley and Dilwyn Close in Matchborough East will be getting a makeover as part of a civil improvement programme that will see improvements to housing, footpaths, landscaping and car parking areas.
Residents from the closes were consulted on the proposals and work will now start this week for approximately six to eight weeks.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Bill Hartnett, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to residents whilst the work is taking place.
“The improvements will help alleviate ongoing parking issues as well as improving the general environmental quality of the area.”
