A REDDITCH dance academy is celebrating a ‘straight flush’ after all of its student passed their International Dance Teachers’ Association exams with Distinction.
Students at Riopedre Dance Academy also took part in an end-of-term performance last month, giving them the opportunity to showcase their dancing skills to family and friends.
The Rowney Green academy offers classes in ballet, tap, theatre craft, street dance and musical theatre for children aged two-and a half or above.
Dance principal Gaynor Riopedre said: “The classes, also for adults, are small and friendly to ensure every student feels comfortable and gets the attention and support they need.”
Gaynor trained at the world famous Italia Conti and worked as a professional dancer, singer and actress for many years before finally opening her own dance academy.
The academy will be performing at The Core Theatre in Solihull in July 2020 and will begin rehearsing next month.
