A FUNDRAISER in the town’s Kingfisher Centre resulted in smiles all round Worcester Square when shoppers were invited to guess how many balloons were squeezed into a car.
The event, organised by estate agents, Leaders, saw passersby estimate the number of balloons inside the car.
All proceeds raised were donated to Together for Short Lives, a leading UK charity for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
And the celebrations didn’t end there. On Monday (April 25) competition winners Mr and Mrs Ogden were presented with a mouth-watering Thorntons chocolate hamper for correctly guessing the number of balloons.
