Redditch families sought for return of TV's Fun House

THE SEARCH is on for local families to take part in the return of a classic children’s television show.

The New Tardebigge on Hewell Lane and the Horse and Jockey in Wythall have teamed up with Fun House favourites Pat Sharp and the twins.

For one day only, the 90s show will be retuning to screens and the pubs are now looking for four teams to compete in the competition on Saturday, June 13.

Contestants will be taken through each round where they will go head-to-head and this time parents can participate too.

The four lucky teams – one parent and one child from each family – will have the opportunity to win a family holiday worth £1,000 after taking on the gunge tank quiz, the go karts race and of course, the Fun House.

James Morrall, general manager of the New Tardebigge, said:”We’re thrilled to be bringing back Fun House. It’s about time mums and dads had some fun too, and so we’re not only offering a heap of nostalgia for the parents, but also a chance for them to take part and get messy. “We’re expecting lots of entries and can only choose four teams of two to take part in our Family Fun House event, so we would encourage families to shout about how wacky their family is when applying.”
