GET on song with Redditch’s Choirs Connected network which has just restarted its popular Family Choir after an enforced two year break caused by the pandemic.
Each year, Choirs Connected offers a 10 week course for one child and adult from the same family to sing as part of Family Choir, culminating in a performance at the Palace Theatre as part of their summer show.
Family Choir 2022 starts on Monday, April 25 and runs from 7pm to 8pm at Willow Trees Community Centre.
“It is a brand new choir which literally runs for 10 weeks – we find it suits busy family life as it is a short term commitment with long term rewards as far as the memories that are made and the mood boosting effects of singing in a choir!” said director Maria Brannelly.
“It really is one of the favourite things that we do!”
New for 2022 is the Choirs Connected Youth Choir for youngsters aged eight to 13 with two performances booked for the summer and half price sessions at £2.50 with a free T-shirt for all members made possible by Church Hill Big Local.
A hallmark of Choirs Connected, is that all music is selected and professionally arranged to suit each choir and sessions are fun, fast and focused.
No music reading involved just fun and friendship. Visit www.choirsconnected.org.uk for details or email Maria at [email protected]
