A REDDITCH company has been recognised for its outstanding achievement by receiving a Queen’s Enterprise Award.

The accolade recognises the successes of UK businesses in the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

TP3 Global Ltd on the Washford Industrial Estate was recognised for its contribution to international trade.

The Heming Road firm is a leading global innovator and provider of thermal protection for temperature sensitive cargo.

It was awarded the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in the International Trade category for its SilverskinTM brand.

Clive Wheeldon, President of TP3 Global, said: “We are extremely proud to achieve the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for international trade.

“Our commitment to providing market-leading products, innovation and high-quality customer service has resulted in working with the industry’s leading pharmaceutical companies.”

Two other Worcestershire firms were also recognised – The First Class Pet Company Ltd for international trade, and Metrasens Ltd for innovation.

County Councillor Ken Pollock, Cabinet Member for Economy and Infrastructure said: “I would like to congratulate Metrasens Ltd, The First Class Pet Company and TP3 Global Ltd for winning The Queen’s Enterprise Award.

“For three Worcestershire companies to win the highest business award in the UK is a testament to the county as a base for growing businesses.

“I hope this encourages more companies to relocate to Worcestershire.”

The Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft will be awarding the trophies to these companies later in the year.

As winners of the award the companies will be able to fly The Queen’s Award flag at their office and use the emblem for marketing materials. They will also be invited to a Royal reception.

The First Class Pet Company, the team behind the brand Little BigPaw, has been awarded with The Queens Award for International Trade in recognition of Outstanding Growth in Overseas Sales.

Metrasens Ltd., a Malvern based company that provides advanced magnetic detection technologies used in hospitals, prisons and government and commercial facilities won the award in the category of Innovation.
