A REDDITCH-BASED community group which supports youngsters on the autism spectrum is getting set to host a 24-hour Gameathon this Friday (October 27).
Your Ideas Redditch has invited all their spectrum members to the event which will run from 10am today until 10am on Saturday.
Those taking part will be raising money for the projects Your Ideas runs, including social clubs and health and fitness sessions, and how long they game for depends on how much they want to raise through sponsorship.
A spokesperson for Your Ideas said: “A lot of our members are very passionate gamers so we thought it would be great to host a Gameathon to help raise funds to support our projects.”
Snacks and simple meals will be provided to those gamers taking part to keep their energy levels up and the youngsters taking on the challenge are looking forward to giving something back to the charity too.
