REDDITCH residents and visitors are invited to unite at this year’s Green Fair for a day of family-friendly fun.
Redditch Borough Council has teamed up with Redditch Lions for the annual Green Fair and Lions Fun day on Sunday June 18 from 11am until 4.30pm.
Attractions at the free event at Arrow Valley Countryside Park include live music from Viollettes and Pontiacs, pony rides, face painting, bumper balls, crafts stalls, circus skills, laser clay shooting, owls and an army display.
New for this year, there will be Community Safety Displays and demonstrations from West Mercia Police and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
There will also be a classic car display with many cars of yesteryear on show in their original glory alongside a display of Enfield Motorbikes.
John Godwin, Head of Leisure and Cultural Services, said: “Year on year the Green Fair gets bigger and better and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for some excellent weather to go with it.”
Dave Beech from Redditch Lions, said: “We’re really glad to have teamed up with the Borough Council again to bring this fantastic event back to Arrow Valley. There’s going to be so much to do, you best get there early so you can enjoy it all.”
