A REDDITCH gym has been nominated for a best health and fitness business West Midlands for the 2024 England Business Awards.

TU Fitness in Astwood Bank opened two years ago, and focuses on group classes and personal training.

Founder Tom Underhill said he was proud of the work the company does in the community and the people they help.

“We are extremely passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals.

“Whether your goal is fat loss, increase fitness or build confidence we are here to help.

“We don’t want fitness to be a quick fix, we want this to be a lifestyle choice for everyone.

“We want training to be enjoyable and varied.”

They offer non-intimidating and friendly service and strive to get the best out of their clients, with 1-1 or small group training in their private studio connected to the gym.

Nominated by the public, the competition was designed by talking to local businesses and finding out how they wanted it to be managed and it continues to evolve.

If TU fitness wins in its category, the business can compete in the national Grand Final held annually in Glasgow.

The event brings together the winners from our 16 regional qualifying award competitions to find out who will win the national awards.

Businesses can be nominated at any time throughout the year., in any category.

Tom added: “We’re delighted we have been nominated and appreciate everyone who votes for us.”
