THE Redditch Kingfisher 10K is returning for a second year, co-hosted by Raceways Events CIC and Redditch BID.
Next Sunday, October 29, the Redditch Kingfisher 10K will be returning to the town after a successful launch event in 2022.
Inspired by the Kingfisher Trail, the race will take runners from the town centre, out through Arrow Valley Country Park and Moons Moat, on a relatively flat route, with a kick uphill before the finish in the town centre.
Raceways Events has organised the race, alongside Redditch BID.
Subway Moons Moat and Washford will also be sponsoring the race again, providing water for all runners, and cookies at the finish line.
Sam Taylor, events manager for Raceways, said: “We are so excited to bring the Kingfisher 10K back to Redditch. Last year was a brilliant race and it’s fantastic to be back.”
All event finishers will receive a medal at the finish line, with – shirts an optional extra – and as with all of Raceways’ events, there will be a children’s 1km fun run which is free to enter.
Friends of Isaac’s Foodbank is the official charity partner of the event. Runners have the option to enter the race for free by committing to fund-raising £100 for the foodbank.
