REDDITCH knife crime activist hailed anti-violence bee tour a success

REDDITCH knife crime activist has hailed the anti-violence bee tour a success.

Pete Martin from Redditch Self Defence campaigned alongside the the bee in Redditch and Bromsgrove.

He purchased 300 selection boxes from Morrisons and distributed them to children that came to visit the bee.

Pete spent two days talking to people in the borough about the impact of knife crime in Redditch and Bromsgrove.




He said: “The visit of the bee enabled us to start discussions with people about this delicate subject and talk about anti violence projects.

“I also visited five Redditch schools last week and by the end of 2022 I am on course to have spoken to over 6,000 young people this year and over 30,000 since my mission commenced about eight years ago.”
