REDDITCH Ladies Circle presented their charity of the year, Touchstones, with a cheque for nearly £1300.
Touchstones were set up in 2011 and have worked with over 600 local children and young people in North East Worcestershire offering them the support they need to be able to face the loss of someone very special to them.
A spokesperson from the group said: “We had the privilege of inviting Vicki from Touchstones to let her know the final amount raised and hear more about the great work this charity does.”
Redditch Ladies Circle meet around once a month and plan different events throughout the year.
The past year they have had theatre trips, art events, pub socials and have trained with the army as well as volunteering their time at community events.
Membership of Redditch Ladies Circle is open to women aged 18 to 45 who would like the chance to meet new friends, try new activities and give something back to their local communities.
