REDDITCH Lions are collecting in the Kingfisher Centre for the BBC annual Children in Need Appeal, this Friday, November 17.
They will be located in Kingfisher Walk, near the entrance to Car Park 4.
Since the appeal started back in 1980, Redditch Lions have collected every year for the appeal, raising more than £45,000 from Redditch folk with the generous help of the Kingfisher Centre, who have hosted the annual collection since the Centre opened.
A spokesman for Reddich Lions Club said: “We love collecting for Children in Need. Every year a bunch of regular donors bring us their bags of coins saved during the year to add to the collection. This year, we will also accept old five pound notes and pound coins which we will add to the total. We look forward to seeing you.”
