A BUMPER £1,000 in donations were collected from local shoppers when Redditch Lions Club held a fundraising day for Children In Need.
Held in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, people not only freely handed over cash but also snapped up Pudsey goodies to further boost the total.
Lion Mike Andrews said: “Would like to thank all the people of Redditch who came along to our Children in Need collection at the Kingfisher Centre Friday, November 19.
“We would like to thank the management of the centre for letting us collect there again.
“It was so good to be back collecting again this year after last year’s drive had to be cancelled last year owing to Covid-19 restrictions.”
