A REDDITCH man has been jailed for three years and four months after pleading guilty to drugs offences.

David Lockyer, 45, of Greenlands Avenue, Redditch, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court.

Ongoing investigations into county lines drug supply led to Lockyer being identified as coordinating supply for seven drug dealers.

On August 4 a warrant was executed at a property in Greenlands Avenue and crack cocaine, heroin and around £6,000 in cash was found and seized.

Lockyer was arrested the following day and subsequently charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

Det Sgt Kirsty Hill said it was another step forward in the force’s ongoing work to keep drugs off the streets and protect communities.

“Drug dealers take advantage of vulnerable people and ruins lives.

“We are determined to protect our communities and we will prosecute anyone involved in drugs supply.
