Redditch man left with facial injuries after knife attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Redditch on Saturday, August 1.

At around 2am the man, who is in his 40s, was walking from the The Park Inn pub on Evesham Road towards Pool Bank with his son when a man approached the pair and stabbed the victim.

He was left with injuries to the face and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The offender is described as white, with short brown hair and was wearing a fluorescent orange jacket.
