A CRIMINAL behavioural order (CBO) has been granted against a man from Redditch following a string of thefts in Sainsbury’s.
Jack Albutt, 24 from Donnington Close in Redditch, was granted a CBO at Worcester Magistrates Court and will last for a period of two years.
The order prohibited him from entering the Sainsburys on Alvechurch Highway in Redditch for the duration of the order.
This comes after he was found guilty of a theft from the shop in June.
PC Greg Melville said: ‘’Albutt committed several thefts at the store, with three separate high value thefts in one day. Not only has this had an impact on the store financially, but it has also impacted staff and customers.
“What this result shows is that we will pursue offenders and we will robustly apply for orders to manage and prevent any future offending in order to make our communities safer.’’
