IT was all smiles at The Duck Inn in Oakenshaw last weekend when Borough Mayor Jenny Wheeler officially re-opened the Pheasant Lane watering hole and dining venue.
The pub has been completely refurbished with a bigger kitchen, larger dining area and bar offering new ales and lagers.
“It’s been completely refurbished and looks fantastic and we are looking forward to welcoming new customers and our regulars,” said licencee Lee-ann Wallace, who has stepped up after many years managing the premises.
