THE MAYOR has given Redditch One World Link with a gift to take to the twin town of Mtwara in Tanzania.
Coun Salman Akbar presented the gift on behalf of Redditch Borough Council.
It will be given to Mtwara Mikindani Municipal Council by David and Jackie Morgan on a visit to Mtwara next week.
It is hoped that both Redditch and Mtwara can build on the links forged by this visit to further strengthen relations between the two towns, which have been twinned since 1985.
