REDDITCH MP Chris Bloore has given his condolences to the family and friends of the man that died in the town centre.
Earlier today (October 21) police confirmed a man had died at the Kingfisher Centre.
An air ambulance, police and two ambulances attended the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival we discovered one patient, a man. Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said they attended the scene after reports of a man having suffered serious injuries.
“Sadly, the man died at the scene a short while later. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
Mr Bloore said in a statement on social media he was saddened by the tragic death.
He said: “My heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends and those affected by this heartbreaking event.
“I also want to thank our emergency services for their swift and compassionate response.”
