REDDITCH residents have seen for the first time this week what David Cameron may have been able to negotiate for Britain’s future membership of the EU – and the questions over whether it is enough.
The town’s MP, Karen Lumley, has said she strongly supports the Government’s efforts to renegotiate the country’s relationship with the EU but there is still detail to be worked on before a summit on February 18 and 19.
Mrs Lumley said she will await the full outcome of negotiations before deciding whether she will support Britain’s continuing membership but in the meantime, she is proud that the Government is ‘sticking up’ for Britain’s interests at home and abroad.
She added she welcomes the opportunity for the people to decide on the country’s future.
