REDDITCH MP, Rachel Maclean has launched a competition to find a design for a card which will be sent to His Majesty The King to mark his Coronation.
The Card for The King competition is open to children aged 4 to 13 years-old who live in the constituency.
The winning design, chosen by Mrs Maclean, will be sent to Buckingham Palace ahead of His Majesty The King’s Coronation on Saturday, May 6th on behalf of everyone who lives in Redditch.
All a child needs to do is to design a Coronation-themed picture on an A4 piece of paper which, if chosen, will be printed on to a card for The King.
Entries can be emailed to [email protected] or by sending it to her constituency office via FREEPOST RACHEL MACLEAN.
Entry is limited to one design per child and all entries must be received by Friday, April 7th. Artists should include their full name, age, school and address with their entry.
Mrs Maclean said: “As we get ready to come together to mark The King’s Coronation and this historic occasion for our country, I want to make sure His Majesty is aware of the support and well wishes from the people of Redditch and the Villages.
“I know we have many budding young artists in our constituency, so please encourage your child or grandchild to get creative and to take part. I look forward to receiving their designs!”
