REDDITCH MP, Rachel Maclean, has met with farmers in Hanbury to discuss the challenges facing them.
It comes as farmers and foresters in the constituency have been awarded £126,373 in Government funding to boost farm productivity, reduce waste and cut costs.
It is hoped the funding will increase environmental sustainability and improve slurry management.
Mrs Maclean said: “I will always back our farmers, and I’ve done so ever since I was first elected.
“From speaking to local farmers, I’m aware of the challenges they face, but also the opportunities available to them.
“I will continue to support them and to raise their concerns with the Government.”
