REDDITCH MP Rachel Maclean dropped in on local bailiffs Bristow & Sutor as they celebrated their 40th birthday.
Mrs MacLean toured the debt enforcement firm’s central office on Bartleet Road and met with chief executive Andrew Rose and chief operations officer Richard Sutor.
Together they agreed to collaborate in helping more young people from the local community find a place of work.
Bristow & Sutor, who have been trading since 1977 and now operate across the UK, having recruited 172 of their 322 staff from the Redditch area.
Alongside providing employment opportunities for local young people, the company has also contributed to the community and local charities.
B&S staff have a strong connection with Redditch, where the business first started, and have now formed relationships with local authorities across England and Wales.
Mr Rose said: “I was delighted to welcome Rachel to Bristow & Sutor’s 40th birthday celebration. After four decades in operation, we remain focused on the future to deliver further growth and development for the business and our employees.
Mrs MacLean said: “It was a pleasure to visit Bristow & Sutor. They are a long standing and significant employer in Redditch who are obviously committed to the local area and community.”
