REDDITCH MP Rachel Maclean has revealed the winners of her annual Christmas card competition.
Mrs Maclean will now send the winning designs to the many contacts she has made since being elected.
After advertising the competition during the summer, Mrs Maclean whittled the entries down to just two – Delina Daison from St George’s First School and Daizy Nicholls from Abbeywood First School.
“It was really difficult to choose, but for me, Delina and Daizy’s cards perfectly reflected Christmas in all of its traditions and festivities,” said Mrs Maclean.
On Friday December 14, the Redditch MP visited the two schools to congratulate the winners.
“It was great to be able to meet them both in person.
“They should be very proud of what they’ve achieved.”
Last year’s contest was won by two students from Woodfield Academy.
