REDDITCH has been named as one of the best locations for volunteering opportunities in the UK.
It registered third, below Cheltenham and Gloucester, in a recent survey conducted by Zoopla.
The property company analysed the number of nurseries, events and volunteering opportunities in each area to work out which areas have the best community spirit.
Consumer expert at Zoopla, Tom Parker, said: “Having a community means much more than just waving to your neighbour.
“It’s a feeling of belonging and knowing that you have a support network around you.
“Over the past year, having someone there to chat to has become vitally important.”
