Redditch new arrivals 360 Play in Kingfisher Centre on the look out for local child cancer charity to support

FAMILY entertainment centre 360 Play – which is opening in the Kingfisher shopping centre in February – is looking to link up with a local children’s cancer charity to offer their support in raising funds and awareness in 2017.

360 Play are already very active in their local communities, donating over 700 family passes to raffles this year alone. Plus #Team360 attends many community events offering free entertainment and exposure for local organisations.

Each year, however they choose one special children’s charity to become their Charity of the Year and this year they want to focus specifically on childhood cancers.

360 Play says it will work with the chosen charity on a variety of fundraising initiatives which could include charity events held by 360 Play itself, with profits going to the supported organisation, the use of the 360 Play premises for a fundraising event and the provision of raffle prizes for further fundraising activities, among others.

Group operations manager, Lee Waters, said: “We have chosen to make one particular disease our focus this year in the hope by pinpointing our efforts and collaborating with five regional charities and a national charity we can really make a dent for the families affected.

“360 Play are also working with the Brain Tumour Research charity across all 5 of their sites and are hosting a March take-over with them.”

Anyone involved in a local charity that supports childhood cancer patients and would like to register their organisation’s interest in becoming 360 Play’s officially supported charity for 2016, should email [email protected] or call 01908 670160.

The last day for receipt of applications is Friday, December 23.
