REDDITCH Safer Neighbourhood Team will be out and about in Redditch offering free security bike marking.
Officers will be at the Church Hill Centre from 11am and 1pm and outside St Stephens Church between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday March 2.
People are encouraged to bring their bikes along for marking and general crime prevention advice and will have the opportunity to discuss any local concerns.
Police say security marking is a visible deterrent to bike thieves – thieves know if they are caught with a registered bike, the owner can be traced and they will be arrested.
