Redditch Editorial 27th Sep, 2022   0

REDDITCH Palace Theatre will be putting on an array of performances this Autumn, from the Nutcracker to tribute bands.

The first performance at the theatre will be a Coldplay tribute band, Coldplace, who will be performing on October 14.

The night will be one of the band’s many performances, having done over 600 gigs in over 22 countries worldwide.

Their adventures have led them to perform in all types of settings, including festivals, weddings, theatres and corporate functions.

They aim to capture the feeling of a live Coldplay performance, down to the music, the visuals, the energy and the atmosphere.

Then on October 15, the ‘Ultimate Commitments and Blues Brothers Experience’ will take audiences down memory lane and popp[ing on their dancing shoes.

The stage show includes state-of-the-art audio and visual effects as well as iconic scenes from both cult-classic films.

The 12-piece Big Soul Band will be playing songs such as ‘Everybody (needs somebody)’, ‘Try a Little Tenderness’, ‘R.E.S.P.E.C.T’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’.

The Nutcracker on stage. s

Crown Ballet will also be making an entrance at the theatre with their performance of The Nutcracker on October 20.

The seasonal favourite has been a well-loved Christmas ballet performance since 1853.

The company has come from Moldova to perform the play, and the Redditch Palace Theatre will be its premiere.
