A REDDITCH paramedic is celebrating after scooping up a prestigious accolade at the University of Worcester’s Health and Social Care Mentor Awards.
Sandra Potter, from Matchborough, was presented with the Long Service Mentor Award in a special ceremony.
“I feel extremely honoured and proud to be recognised,” said the 63-year old.
“Having spent 30 years working for the Ambulance Service and now coming to the end of my career, it really is the icing on the cake.”
Each year the University of Worcester celebrate the outstanding contribution that professionals from the health and social care sector make in supporting the University’s students whilst they training in the work place.
“Working and guiding the students has been extremely rewarding,” said Sandra.
“Watching them progress through their placements has been a real honour.”
