A REDDITCH podcaster is celebrating the launch of his new series ‘Lead The Way’.
Kyle Wakefield has been making podcasts for a year with a friend from school, but decided to follow his passion alone.
He has had a difficult start in life and, because of his upbringing, was two years behind pupils his age at school.
Kyle and his brother were taken in by his aunt and uncle and began to thrive.
He wants to share his story to prove to others they can achieve anything they put their minds to.
He said: “The reason I started this podcast is because I wanted to inspire as many young people as possible to help you all realise that no matter where you start from in life you can and will flourish.
“I would say I am a prime example of that.
“At just 17, I’ve faced unique challenges and experiences that shaped me and pushed me to give back through storytelling.
“I believe in the power of sharing real, impactful conversations with leaders, visionaries, and changemakers in society.”
Kyle has grown his podcast through networking and sharing his story on other platforms.
He visited the Ideas Fest where he pitched himself to fellow podcasters and has been featured on numerous channels.
Kyle is now in the position to earn money from his work and is building a relationship with brands.”
He added the podcast had enjoyed a dramatic increase and listeners and viewers, thanks to his audiences’ continued support.
“I’m so grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey, from listeners to guests and new sponsors.
“The road ahead is looking amazing, and I can’t wait to bring you even more incredible episodes.”
