WEST Mercia’s Road Policing unit were very busy over the weekend in Redditch.
On Saturday, January 6 Redditch police were involved in various incidents with offending motorists.
A van was stopped for having two bald tyres. The driver was issued with a ticket and the vehicle was prohibited.
A red Audi was also stopped in Redditch. The driver turned out to only hold a provisional licence and was driving without a supervisor or L plates. The driver was reported and the vehicle was seized.
Redditch Police also stopped a car due to a poor standard of driving. The driver was drug swabbed and tested positive for cannabis consumption. They were taken to custody to provide a blood sample, which will be sent off for analysis.
