Redditch police in plea after iPhone is stolen on Church Green

OFFICERS in Redditch are appealing for witnesses after a phone was taken from a 13-year-old boy on Tuesday, August 8.

The incident happened around 3.30pm, when an unknown offender is reported to have grabbed an iPhone from the boy as he sat with a friend on the road by the bandstand on Church Green West.

The boy chased the offender down Easemore Road into Abbeydale before losing sight of him.

The man is described as Asian, around 5’10” tall and of slim build with a bald head and no facial hair.

He was thought to be wearing a black Nike jumper and black jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the theft or anybody with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 546s of 8 August.
