ARTS in Redditch (AIR) has announced its latest event for local artists and art lovers following a year-long break,
The Spring 2025 Pop-Up gallery, which runs from May 1 to May 11, will occupy Unit 10, Walford Walk in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, opposite Next.
The gallery will showcase the huge variety of creative talent at work in the Redditch area, and encourage others to get involved.
More than 50 artists will be exhibiting their work, which will include original paintings, drawings, ceramics, needlecraft, jewellery and photography and all work will be available to purchase.
Philip Roberts, trustee of Arts in Redditch, told the Standard: “Last year we celebrated 10 years since we opened our first pop-up gallery, but the lack of suitable premises meant we were unable to open for Christmas 2024.
“We are delighted to be back with probably our best line-up of local artists, with a fantastic selection of over 500 pieces of original work for sale.
“Once again, we are indebted to general manager Fiona Faizey and her team at the Kingfisher Centre, without whose support these events could not happen.”
The gallery will be open from 10am until 4pm.
