PUPILS from Webheath Academy Primary School raised nearly £400 for Acorns Children’s Charity.
The children chose the charity themselves via a democratic vote and had to think of ways to make money for the cause before selling their products and services after school during its enterprise week.
The school Friends Association lent groups a maximum of £10 if they needed it to get started on their enterprise.
Stalls included arts and crafts, hair tinsel services, glitter tattoo services, penalty shoot-outs, obstacle courses, cake sale, homemade lemonade, 3D print-out toys, basketball games and more.
The children worked out the finances to ensure a profit and made marketing material to promote the event.
In all, they raised a total of £368.
