Redditch pupils use art in litter clean up drive at community orchard

Ross Crawford 21st Mar, 2019

LOCAL youngsters have been busy cleaning up litter from the brand new Woodrow and Greenlands Community Orchard.

To inspire them, members of the community recruited pupils from St Thomas More First School and Woodrow First School to make anti litter posters to be used around the area.

A winner will be picked from each school with free tickets to Imagination Street and sweets donated by a local confectionery wholesalers as top prizes.

Runners up will also receive sweets.

Then this Sunday, March 24, there will be a community litter pick starting at the orchard.
