Redditch Rotary collect for Tools with a Mission

REDDITCH Rotary Club has teamed up with Ipswich based charity Tools With A Mission (TWAM) to collect tools that will see a new lease of life in African countries.

A wide range of hand tools are taken in by TWAM via a country wide network, they are then cleaned, serviced and sorted into trade bundles.

The tools are shipped out to deserving individuals who can then work at creating an independent income.

Redditch Rotary will be contacting businesses around the town to ask that any unwanted tools are set aside which can be collected by the club.

Club President Mike Luck said: “The Midlands has provided a huge contribution to TWAM and we are pleased to provide another point of collection.”

Anyone who has unwanted hand tools or sewing machines can donated them by contacting the club at [email protected] where collection will be arranged.

Anyone wishing to enquire about how to get involved with the club can go to rotaryclubofredditch.org.uk
