A REDDITCH man has raised another £3,000 for charity by taking on the Great North Run.

Ben Truslove has raised over £18,000 for  Macmillan Cancer Support in recent years.

In 2021, he raised more than £2,000 for the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove by running the Chester Marathon, then in 2022 and 2023 he ran the London Marathon raising another £8,000 plus for the hospice.

He also ran in the Weston-super-Mare Half Marathon, completed Stratford Triathlon and a Wolf Run to raise over £2,500 for Midlands Air Ambulance.

Ben, joint managing director of commercial property agents John Truslove in Redditch, said: “Running for these great causes gives me the motivation to keep going, as I know and appreciate the work they do.

“I would also like to thank everyone who sponsored me as their support is what makes it all worthwhile.

“I have entered the Alton Towers Half Marathon on 17th November to raise more cash for Midlands Air Ambulance, a fantastic charity that relies on donations to keep running.”
