A REDDITCH primary school has successfully completed an expansion project, thanks to £65,000 of council funding.
The project has improved Webheath Academy Primary School facilities and created a new learning environment for its students.
Headteacher, Janine Burton said: “We are thrilled to have secured this significant funding, which will greatly benefit our children and enhance their learning opportunities.
“The expansion project has been a collaborative effort, and we are immensely grateful to the local authority, our partners, and everyone involved in making this vision a reality.”
This funding has enabled the school to create additional learning spaces dedicated to year four children, including an outdoor classroom area, a reading area, and a cloakroom space.
Coun Tracey Onslow, cabinet member for education at Worcestershire County Council, said: “This project is a momentous achievement for the local community, and I’m looking forward to hearing about the positive impact the new facilities have had on staff and students.
“These new facilities undoubtedly enrich the educational experience of the students and provide an inspiring environment for their academic journey, enabling them to go on and reach their full potential.”
