AN ENTERPRISING Redditch girl who started making bracelets to sell to raise funds for the homeless will be showcasing her creations this weekend.

Eden Oakley, 10, started her project a month ago and has so far raised £440 to buy sleeping bags and other items for the ‘Have a Hart, Help the Homeless’ shelter in Erdington.

She will next be selling her bracelets at The Studley Community Fair between 11am and 3pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Proud mum Gemma said: “Eden has always had a kind heart and asks to donate to the homeless whenever we’re out and about.

“She has always enjoyed doing art and craft and came to us with the bracelet idea.

“She has spent tireless hours making the bracelets and originally set her target for £200 which she has more than doubled.”

Eden sells her bracelets for a minimum £1 donation with all cash going to the charity.
