TUDOR Grange Academy Redditch received a glowing report as part of their ongoing assessment to become an Inclusion Quality Mark school.
Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) provides schools with a nationally -recognised framework to guide their inclusion journey and help schools evaluate and measure how they are performing.
The school has been taking part in annual IQM assessments for the past three years and as a result of the progress made since their last IQM review the assessor Hilary Thompson had no hesitation in recommending the school be awarded ‘Flagship status’.
IQM Flagship status recognises those unique schools who have held IQM Centre of Excellence status for at least three years and have played a strong leadership role in developing inclusion best practice across a network of schools.
Marie McNamara, principal at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch, said: “I am absolutely delighted with our report and our flagship status.
“It truly shows the ongoing progress we have made over the last couple of years and is a true reflection of our community.
“I am so proud of our inclusive school and every day we go from strength-to-strength.
“The report highlights our staff and their dedication and drive to make a positive difference and I can not thank them enough for everything they do.”
