STAFF and pupils at Vaynor First School welcomed the Mayor of Redditch to their reception Christmas show ‘The Twinkly Nativity’.
The pupils, who had only been in school one term, performed with confidence and enthusiasm for the mayor and their parents.
The performance showcased the talents and hard work of the school’s youngest pupils who delivered a delightful and engaging show, impressing the mayor and their families.
Reception class teacher Georgia Warman said: “The children were very excited to see the Mayor arrive for the Nativity.
“They were all superstars as they performed with such confidence and lived up to the school motto ‘inspired to be the best that we can be’.”
The school, which provides education for pupils aged four to nine, prides itself on providing a nurturing and supportive environment to reach their full potential.
The school said the successful Nativity performance was testament to the dedication of the staff, hard work of the children and the strong support of the local community.
