SEA Cadets from Redditch and Bromsgrove are appealing to the local community to help them secure funds for their unit headquarters.
The youth charity, based at Park Farm in Redditch, are in desperate need of funds to help improve their faciltiies.
The unit was burgled back in September 2015, the thieves damaging doors, cabinets and the training area.
Sub Lieutenant James Sanders of the Royal Naval Reserve said: “We had a very successful 2015, despite the break-in and theft of our equipment.
“We are now looking to the future and require the community to help us improve our HQ.
“Without updating the facilities, we cannot continue to provide our cadets with great opportunities.”
The group currently has 45 cadets aged from 10 to 18 with 18 volunteer helpers.
The unit is also looking for local businesses to sponsor the group.
