REDDITCH singer-songwriter and pianist Sam Ostler has a new single out on July 19 called ‘Tried To Fix It’.

Sam has had an extensive touring schedule with the likes of The Stylistics and The Three Degrees, playing to well over 40,000 people in the last few years.

His two previous well-received EPs are helping to grow Sam’s reputation and fan base.

He has had every song from both EPs played on national BBC radio, and his previous single ‘Here With Me’ was BBC DJ Andrew Marston’s track-of-the-week upon release.

Marston also described him as ‘one of the fastest rising musicians on the national touring scene’.

Sam said working with Gustavos Celis had helped him ‘take his writing abilities to a new level’ and he has appeared on the Jools Holland Show.

While on there, Alison Howe told him he had a lovely voice and his style fitted very nicely in the world of music.

On Tried To Fix It, Sam told the Standard: “The single is a modern pop song consisting of emotional vocals and a catchy melody.

“I’ve had some great feedback from the likes of BBC Radio 2 and the Jools Holland show.”
